About the Event

This exhibition closing on January 23rd gives the whole range of Alma Thomas' creativity, from her strong early work to her signature late work.   Don't miss the artful video about her life and work.  Be sure to also see the restrospectoive of her friend David Driskell, painter, teacher, and pioneer African-American art historian is on view on the floor below.  His show ends January 9th.

Sign up on line  at https://www.phillipscollection.org/ for your timed entry ($16 or 12  for seniors, free for members).  It is close to Dupont Circle Metro stop. Meet in the entrance area at 2:00 p.m. and look for other members.  Members may walk in without timed entry.  Proof of vaccination and masks are required.  The museum is open until 6:00.
