Group ’55 and MidCentury Abstraction in Philadelphia

Join Barbara Wolanin’s talk about the exhibition she guest curated at the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia focused on Group ’55.  The group formed in 1955 consisted of abstract artists, half of them women, Barbara worked with a research team for almost two years to help create the exhibition and write the first history of the group for the catalog. Barbara will answer questions and prompt discussions to make this an interactive experience. This event is free to WCADC members.
