About the Event
Join Barbara Wolanin for an in=person art chat at the Kreeger Museum for the current exhibition TRACES. The exhibition features regional artists Billy Friebele, Roxana Alger Geffen, Rania Hassan, Sebastian Martorana, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann, Antonio McAfee, Brandon Morse, and Johab Silva. Guest curated by Sarah Tanguy, the show explores how the past evokes shifting memories while suggesting new and present narratives. Rich in representation and abstraction, TRACES encompasses painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, sound, and video, and includes several site-responsive installations.
Entry (with reservation) and parking on-site are free. Check Kreeger Museum website on April 26 to make your reservation and review the guidelines.  Barbara Wolanin will try to secure some additional tickets to share with people who RSVP but couldn’t get a spot.  (There is a limit of 25 people total in the museum.)  https://www.kreegermuseum.org/exhibitions/view/current
