See My Color: A Social Justice Call for Art Juried Virtual Art Exhibition September 30 - November 30, 2020 Key Dates and Info: Open: July 15, 2020 Deadline: August 30, 2020 Notifications: sent by September 15 - 20, 2020 Entry fee: $20 per artist up to 3 pieces Juror: Zsudayka Nzinga Terrell The Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, DC invites members of the National Women’s Caucus for Art to submit artwork for a juried online exhibition entitled "See My Color," WCADC’s Social Justice Art Exhibition. "See My Color" will explore artists' relationships with racial injustice, police brutality, and criminal justice reform through visual art. The show aims to confront the current social injustices surrounding the deaths of people of color in the United States by law enforcement, as well as systemic racism as a whole. “I don’t see color” is no longer an acceptable response. 


This call is open to all two-dimensional and three-dimensional work in all mediums and styles. Entry fee is $20 per artist with a maximum of three entries. Artists are invited to attend a public virtual online opening reception via Video Conference on October 15, 2020 from 6-8 PM.
