New! First Second Sunday gathering for WCA members February 14 at 3:00

Share your knowledge and insights with other WCA/DC members at our new monthly Second Sunday at 3:00 Member Program/Art Share.

We will start with brief announcements and a short 15-minute interactive program that can have a variety of topics and formats.  Please tell us what you would like to present or topics you would be interested in on the registration form.

• Show an image of a work of art (or an exhibition) and tell us how it changed you or inspired your own practice.
• Show and demonstrate an unusual tool that is one of your favorites.
• Share the way you have found to organize your art supplies/studio.
• Share your tips for getting your art out in the world.

The first five people who reserve a spot will talk about one or two images of her work, telling a little about herself, what her intention is for the piece, what questions she might have about it, and followed by feedback, for a total of about 5 minutes each. (Additional people who sign up will be given priority for next month’s meeting).  

The meeting will end with a 10-minute breakout session so those attending will get to meet and talk with a small group of other members.
