An art scholarship is offered, and we’ve been awarded for activism in the art community. There’s something new . . . Sandra Davis is broadcasting a feature starring our own members on the 4th Sunday of each month. At our member gathering on the second Sunday of the month, we will have a laser cutting demo from Juliet Hossain. Do you know there’s a lot of public sculpture in downtown Bethesda? Many of the pieces are by women, and we are having a walking tour this month. It goes on . . . samples of our members’ works are on display in our holiday card gallery. Calls for art are there. Need to write a good artist bio, check out the “Resources” tab, you’ll find it, along with all kinds of useful links.
Be a couch potato if you want . . . our latest exhibit, “Looking for America,” can be viewed virtually, or you can schedule a time to go in and see it for real. If you are having a show, list it under our “Member Show Listings” tab. Oh yes . . . keep current, our monthly newsletter is there too.
