We had our first meeting on June 6. Thank you to those that have volunteered. Bonnie MacAllister will be updating Twitter, Lauren Stern will be updating Instagram, and Ellen Maidman-Tanner will be writing for our newsletter.
Here are some of the things we are be doing this month:
We have a new Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/wcadcchapter. You can think of this page like Instagram. We will be posting similar content to Instagram to reach a greater audience. Our current Facebook group is public and has both members and non-members.
We reactivated our Twitter account and will be used similarly to our Instagram and Facebook Pages.
Using social media to engage our younger and older members - How do we accomplish this? Let us know your ideas.
This month's social media goals: focus on Black Women Artists, art that shows the current social activism around Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ art for Pride month.
